What are the functions and obligations of a HOD in regards to the students?

"Encourage children to adopt new technology and to participate in the world around them"

One of my tasks as a HoDis to manage work and study. I serve as an intermediary between teachers, parents, and students. As previously indicated, we are one of the parents who will care for children both on and off campus. Despite the fact that adopting new technology is not always easy, my ultimate objective is to make it possible with the assistance of the other faculties.

What is your leadership philosophy? How would you describe your style of leadership?

"My greatest strengths are in teamwork and public speaking"

As the leader, I am able to oversee the group, the students, and the administration. I believe that my ability to teach is my strongest leadership quality.

What should be the College's major priority over the next decade, in your opinion?

"My college places a significant emphasis on placements, and many students enrol in the hopes of securing jobs"

Therefore, it is essential that you deliver the best placement results. The curriculum for bow days has altered, and the industry has embraced version 4.0. When placement examinations yield favourable results, our institution will also be the best in all other respects. In addition to placement tests, virtual laboratories, extracurricular training labs, research-oriented programmes, and hands-on training should be established for educational reasons.

How do you attempt to infuse subjects with a practical approach and make them industry-focused?

"Saturday's technical activities will help you increase practical knowledge. We constantly practise problem solving and circuit debugging in the lab"

Circuit debugging is the most essential aspect for our division. In addition to students, faculty members should be acquainted for practical purposes. In the past, we conducted project-based seminars and hands-on training to assess the students' practical knowledge. They can shine like water if their practical knowledge is expanded. In addition, our laboratories are research-oriented and well-equipped.

In what ways does your institution prepare students for placements?

"We organise both Saturday events and student group exercises. In addition, several college guest professors advise students throughout their assignments."

The bulk of the time, we conduct alumni gatherings to ensure that the current placement-attending students obtain employment with MNCs, which is our ultimate objective. Second semester is when training for placement cells begins. In addition, beginning in the fifth semester, they begin to prepare students with simulated interviews and an off-campus recruitment campaign.

Do you offer extracurricular activities or programmes that develop students' skills or expose them to real-world obstacles?

"Our extracurricular activities, such as sports and clubs, focus on games done outside of class and are practised daily"

We also permit students to utilise the on-campus gym for athletic training. In comparison to other engineering schools, they have access to the best facilities. Compared to other colleges, our amenities and sports facilities are the finest and most well-equipped.

What obstacles did you confront/do you face to improve the quality of education at your college?

"There is an annual reunion of alumni. Regarding trends and technology, they will converse with the current students"

This generation is not regarded as playful, and they are unaware of the actual educational landscape. The greatest challenge in our world is persuading pupils to pay attention. Another significant obstacle is a lack of comprehension and reading skills.

What was your vision when you entered college, and how are you attempting to realise it?

"As a vision, we must build cutting-edge technology to accept and attract students of this age"

The level of my students is really poor, so raising it is my primary objective. If our laboratories and facilities are well-appointed, we will obtain more applications than other colleges. I have accomplished most of my objectives; all that remains is to improve the academic and personality development of my students.

How does the department/college improve the faculty's skills and train them to meet industry standards?

"Every member of staff should engage in the required faculty development programme"

Additionally, we utilised the NTT faculty development programme every semester. Even if kids' intelligence has increased in recent years, we are still learning a great deal about how to manage them. This programme will assist us in better comprehending and managing our pupils during practical lessons.

What essential career advice would you like to provide to the students so that they may have a prosperous future?

"Keep up with technical developments as much as possible"

Daily technological advancement necessitates that you modify your mindset and learn the appropriate skills. Using mobile phones, which can be used to learn a variety of topics, students can learn and grow substantially. Nowadays, everything is portable, enabling students to utilise their smartphones and laptops for technical purposes.
