He has done PhD in Structure Civil Engineering, M.Tech in Structure Civil Engineering, B.Tech in Civil Engineering along with a 3 year Diploma course in Civil Engineering as part of his academics. What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

"As education improves our own and other's life too, this philosophy is the reason of my association with the education sector"

We all are aware that education makes us better citizens by teaching us how to conduct ourselves through life by following rules and regulations and it also gives us a sense of conscience. I truly believe that when education is delivered using the latest technologies in the right direction, it opens abundant opportunities and these opportunities are not bound by geography. Better educated people tend to live longer and have better lifestyles. This whole concept keeps me connected with the education sector.


Being the Principal of Global Institute of Technology, what is your philosophy of leadership?

"To develop students skills and build their knowledge by mentoring them whenever necessary"

I truly believe that each student is different and hence I don't treat them with the same predefined thought. As a Principal of GIT, my responsibility is to develop their strengths, interests, skills, abilities and knowledge by guiding them as and when required. I teach them to not get demotivated by failures but to learn from them by stretching and challenging themselves. You don't have to understand everything, personal integrity should guide your every action.


Being the Principal of GIT, how do you strategize key programs for the marketing and administration of your Institute?

"By sharing our success stories through online platforms and including Alumni in admission process"

We use different kinds of approaches to do the marketing and administration of our institute like we share success stories of institutions through different social media handles, engage Alumni in the admissions process, host aptitude tests without charging any fee from students. In addition to this, we use social media platforms to connect with the learners. We also encourage our students to leave online reviews about our institute. GIT provides the right ambiance to develop and enrich talents to facilitate the total development of a student's personality. Effective institute safety policies, such as anti-bullying, are as important as high-quality education, and are fully integrated into our institute planning and strategy.

How does the curriculum of your institute ensure the best practices of industry?

"It comprises of rigorous internship programs followed by events like workshops, guest lectures and competitions"

As per curriculum we design, each student undergoes an internship program of 105 days in his/her 4 year Professional Career Journey. GIT has set up an Industry Advisory Board with an objective to establish strong industry connections, conducts workshops such as MDP and FDPs with the collaboration of renowned industries. We at GIT hav a full flashed entrepreneurship and startup cell for grooming students for their ideas. And in addition to all this, we follow an outcome based education by developing course plans with objectives and outcomes. GIT has also launched an Alumni Association to connect with the Alumni and utilize their services like guest lectures, internship opportunities and placements etc. Lastly, our institute regularly encourages students to compete to get new skills through competitions like tech fests, paper presentations and idea and innovation contests for which students' projects are certified by different companies. What are your roles and responsibilities for the institute and students?

"To give an ambiance of growth to students and faculty, to guide them and supervise college activities"

Being a Principal, my main focus is to develop and maintain effective educational programs within the institute and to promote the good teaching-learning techniques. My duties are all encompassing as all aspects of the institute operations are either directly or indirectly under my jurisdiction. My few other responsibilities are as follows:

The development of the instructional program.

  • Assignment of duties to faculties and doing supervision of HODs, Faculties and other technical staff.
  • Continually endeavour to improve the operating effectiveness of the GIT.
  • Suggest appropriate changes in and ensure adherence to approved policies, practices and procedures within my area of responsibility.
  • Assist the teaching staff in the development, implementation, modifications and selection of curriculum materials.
  • Develop and support a high degree of student morale through curricular and extracurricular activities and co-ordinate the participation of all members of the teaching staff in the extracurricular program

What do you think should be the institute’s top priority over the next 10 years?

"To take this institute on a global level by enhancing education quality and innovating new things"

Our institute's top priority for the upcoming years is to create an environment which can promote growth of our faculties and students and to improve and update the quality of education we are offering to our students. Apart from this, we aspire to be a globally recognized institute in terms of excellence of our faculties, students, research, learning and innovation. When you first came to the Global Institute, what was your vision for it and how far have you come in implementing that vision?

"To make GIT an independent institute was my aim when I joined the institute"

When I visited GIT for the very first time, my only motive was to make GIT an Autonomous institute of high repute. And to fulfill my vision, I am dedicatedly working by organizing professional development programs. Basically I want to give a team-centered atmosphere to my faculty and students to encourage excellence in all academic areas by using problem-solving skills and entrepreneurial tactics to provide the resources students and teachers need.
