Dr. P. Paramasivan is the Director of Dhaanish Ahmed College of Engineering. He did PhD in Nano Materials from the University of Madras, M.Phil in Nano Materials from Adithanar College and M.Sc in Chemistry from KGS College. He has experience of around 12 years on making Effective Strategic Design of Teaching-Learning Process and Unique Skillset of excellent Administration. He has also worked as a Director and Academic Coordinator for around one year in Chennai. 

What is your leadership philosophy? 

“To set the foundation for success and growth on campus”

We can implement coordination through leadership and it assists to boost innovative thinking for students. They can be more creative, improve personalities and become entrepreneurs with leadership. My leadership philosophy is to set the foundation for success and growth on campus. I try to raise my leadership skills and evaluate them around my team. 

What are the key factors that connect you with the education sector?

“Teaching and providing valuable contributions to the community connects me with the education sector”

I am a passionate teacher ready to mentor students for achieving their aspirations and dreams towards Engineering. My strategy is a unique teaching-learning process and I have worked in the education sector for the past 12 years. We can connect with youth through the teaching process. I believe in giving valuable contributions to society for a better future. 

How do you strategize plans for the marketing and administration of Dhaanish Ahmed College of Engineering?

“Provide Innovative learning, foreign learning programs and placement training on campus”

My duty is to create an ecosystem that builds intellectual and technological power. It increases the excellence of our campus. We provide learning parameters like Traditional, Competitive, Self, and Collaborative methods for students. They get Innovative learning, foreign learning programs and placement training on campus. 

What can an inbound student gain from studying on your campus?

“Foreign language programs, communication, and problem-solving skills achieved by every student on campus”

Our students can experience various activities on campus and it improves their skill sets. They can attain communication, presentation and problem-solving skills when working with a team in the classroom. The campus focuses on outcome-based education and innovative teaching methods. How does the curriculum of Dhaanish Ahmed College of Engineering ensure industrial practice?

Education reaches wider parameters such as industry collaboration, resource mobilization, and entrepreneurial activities. The skills of a pupil raise the employability level. We set up several skill development centers on campus to give training for students. They get sessions on various courses, advanced technology and placements. It begins in the first year and students become ready for industry in the final semester. 

How does your campus welcome students of different economic backgrounds?

“Tuition fee waiver concession and Scholarships are given to economically weaker pupils”

Some of our students are from rural areas with diverse backgrounds. Government Welfare Scholarships are available to low background students. The Tuition fee waiver concession provided to Govt. Quota and Lateral entry pupils. Moreover, students of farmers get the Government Farmer Scholarship and Dace Merit scholarship given to excellent students. The campus also provides hostel facilities for girls and boys.

One of my visions is to become the best choice of the institute for students across the globe. We impart this through the excellent teaching and learning methods on campus. Our campus organizes industry and research practices in an innovative way. It led to the growth of campus in a wide range.
