How do you prepare your students for this dynamic and cut-throat competitive world?

For the purpose of preparing our students for this competitive and ever-changing world, we regularly assign mini-major projects and assignments to them. The aim of assigning these projects is to teach them important skills like team building, leadership and time management and also help them to utilize their learning in practical scenarios. In addition to this, brainstorming exercises, group discussions on current issues and mock interviews are conducted too by us for their benefit and to make them placement ready. Last but not the least, we encourage our students to give presentations on their research projects in order to boost their confidence and remove their fear of public speaking.

How do you tend to build an industry connected with this program in BCET?

On a regular basis, we organize visits to related industries and specialists guide us on the current requirements of the industry. Similarly, we implement the required strategies in our programs to get our students prepared as per the requirements of the Industry.

What kind of student do you look for during the selection process for BCET?

We focus on students who are interested in learning and achieving their dreams during the selection process. The undergraduate admissions include a detailed interview. Students get admission to campus based on their JEE ranks and 12th grade scores.

On what types of projects your students are currently working on under their respective courses?

Our students are working on many software-based (Autocad/catia) and hardware-based projects. Whenever we assign projects to students, their areas of interest along with their technical competency are thoroughly considered. Apart from this, we encourage our PG students to write and publish research papers along with project development.

Any suggestions do you like to give to the current youth and aspiring Students?

Youths need to work hard to achieve their dreams. I believe that every student can outshine others irrespective of his/her circumstances. It is essential to work hard and make your parents feel proud. In the end, you will feel proud of your success as well.
