BCET Gurdaspur offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) to the students who want to take up Engineering as their career. The course is offered for four years and the total intake capacity depends upon the nature of specializations opted by the candidates.

The admission to various undergraduate specializations are made once a year normally during June-July by Centralized Counselling of PTU Jalandhar (affiliating University) /or as directed by the university/Punjab Govt from time to time on the basis of Joint Entrance Examinations-Main (JEE Main) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.

The college offers Master of Technology (M.Tech) and Master of Science (M.Sc) at postgraduate level in five different specializations for a duration of two years. The number of seats depends upon the nature of specializations opted by the candidates.

The admission to M.Tech. programmes will be on the basis of valid GATE/NET Score in appropriate discipline/branch. If seats remain vacant, the candidates without GATE/NET score may also be considered as per guidelines of PTU Jalandhar/Punjab Govt.

• CGPA of 6.0 on a 10-point scale (or equivalent) or 60% marks in case of General/BC candidates in qualifying degree is required
