Undergraduate courses

The semester is divided into ODD and EVEN a semester. The odd semester starts from July and ends in November and the even semester is from January to April. The odd semester begins in July. The first mid-semester examination begins in the mid-September and the second begins from mid-October. The 3rd mid-semester examination begins in the mid of November followed by the end semester practical and theory examination. The end semester evaluation of industrial training is from the end of December.

The even semester begins in January and the first mid-semester examination begins in February. The second mid-semester examination begins in the mid of March and the 3rd-semester examination starts from the mid of April followed by the practical and theory exams in May. The evaluation of industrial training starts in the mid of June.  

 *The third-semester examination is for students who failed or were absent in 1st, 2nd or both semester examination. There should be a minimum of 90 teaching days per semester.

Post-Graduate Courses

The post-graduate courses are divided into two, odd and even semesters each of approximately 14 weeks’ duration. The schedule of academic activities for an academic year including the dates of registration, mid-semester and end semester examination. The Odd semester starts around the last week of July and ends around the middle of November and the even semester begins around the first week of January and ends around the last week of April.

The academic council approves the schedule of all academic activities including the date of the results, date of registration, mid-semester and end semester examination also. The results are announced according to the Odd and Even semesters and are uploaded on the official website of the college. Following are the steps to check the results:

  1. Visit the official website of BEANT college of engineering and technology
  2. A panel on the left appears on the screen with different options on the homepage
  3. Choose the RESULT SECTION option from the list
  4. A list of announced results will appear
  5. Click on the option for which you want to see the results
  6. A course wise list of declared results will appear
  7. Click on the relevant link and download it
  8. Check your result and save/print it for future use

Beant College of Engineering and Technology Entrance Exam Result 2022

The admissions to various undergraduate programs are done once a year in the month of June-July by centralized counseling of PTU Jalandhar or it is directed by the university/ government time to time on the basis of JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION-MAIN. The admissions to B. Tech programs are done only in the odd semester which is during June-July. The procedure for checking the JEE-main results can also be followed here in reference to the university’s requirements.
