Understanding life right down to the molecular processes - that is the central theme of the interdisciplinary Master’s degree in Molecular Life Sciences.
It encompasses basic biochemical and molecular biological research as well as the resulting applications of medical biochemistry and 'green' plant biochemistry.
The aim of the course is to learn and apply current knowledge and methods of molecular biological, cell biological and biochemical research.
The students also acquire core competencies in the planning of research projects and the communication of the results obtained, so that they can later work in academic, non-university or industrial research.

There are no tuition fees for students. Only Semester contribution fee.

Degree in the consecutive Bachelor's degree in Molecular Life Sciences from the University of Hamburg or a comparable degree from a university
Degree in another bachelor's degree, in which comparable achievements in biochemistry/molecular biology were achieved with the consecutive bachelor's degree in Molecular Life Sciences.
