Global environmental changes and the scarcity of natural resources pose various challenges for our society.
Research into the earth system makes important contributions to resource management and researches problem solutions in areas such as oil and raw material geology and materials science.
The master's program in geosciences offers a nationwide unique interdisciplinary education with the possibility to focus on geology, soil science, and mineralogy.
It is based on the one hand on research in terrestrial, marine and atmospheric geosciences, on the other hand on the needs of the labor market at home and abroad.

Following are the admission requirement for the program:

Degree in a bachelor's degree in geosciences or a comparable natural science course.
The German Language is required.
