Business mathematics is a sub-discipline of mathematics that applies mathematical methods to economic questions. In this research-based master’s program, students learn to structure and analyze economic problems, and to solve these using mathematical methods.
The program also takes into account the demands and developments in the world of work and approaches the field in an interdisciplinary manner.
It aims to teach students to work in a scientific manner and to apply and analyze scientific findings.

Following are the requirements for the program:

A consecutive bachelor’s degree in business mathematics or mathematics
Proof of at least 60 credit points in mathematics classes and at least 20 credit points in economics classes
Applicants must have sufficient proficiency in German and English to be able to follow classes. Foreign applicants must provide proof of sufficient language proficiency.
