Nutrition, clothing, health, cosmetics, and hygiene as well as materials and building materials - chemistry is constantly developing new products for everyday life and researching new processes for their production.
The master’s degree in chemistry provides in-depth knowledge of inorganic, organic and physical chemistry. Due to the extensive choice of options in the advanced phase, specialization is possible.
The research-oriented course is rounded off by many internships that provide insights into the current research areas. A stay abroad is also possible during the master's program.

Following are the requirement for the program:

Degree in the consecutive Bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of Hamburg or a comparable degree from a university.
In special cases: With a bachelor's degree that is well above average and additionally proven special chemical-related achievements (e.g. relevant internships, professional experience or work results), an admission (possibly with individual requirements) is also possible if the above-mentioned requirements are not met become.
