Psychologists work on design, advisory, evaluating, diagnostic and psychotherapeutic tasks in health and social services, in education and training, in administration and business, as well as in scientific research. The Bachelor of Science enables students to apply a wide range of basic scientific and social science knowledge, to use psychological working methods, to perform tasks and to solve problems in professional practice. Admission to the course takes place via a local admission procedure from the University of Greifswald.

Tuition Fees
The University of Greifswald does not demand a typical tuition fee. Students have to pay 82 USD per semester as Semester contribution and 107 USD once as enrolment fee.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
The admission requirement for the Master's program in Psychology is the completion of a four-year B. Sc. Degree in Psychology (240 CP) or another course of study that is related to the Bachelor's program in Psychology at the University of Greifswald.
Prior to commencing studies, students will be required to provide proof of German language proficiency. The following certificates are recognized by the University of Greifswald for applications to a full degree course:
- the ‘Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang ausländischer Studienbewerber’ (DSH) at least level 2*
- the ‘Deutsche Sprachdiplom der Kultusministerkonferenz’ (level 2)
- the Goethe-Zertifikat C2 from the Goethe Institute
- the ‘Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache’ (Test DaF), at least level 4 in all partial examinations*
- the certificate ‘telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule’
- a completed degree in German Studies, an assessment test with German as an examination subject.
