This Joint degree program of Agricultural Faculties of University Göttingen and University Kassel is for students who want to contribute to the sustainable development of agriculture worldwide. It offers a well-founded knowledge of bio-physical and socio-economic factors determining agricultural livelihood systems, an understanding of global ecosystems and their relationship with agriculture, and social, professional, and methodological expertise. Three profiles: International Agribusiness and Rural Development Economics, International Organic Agriculture and Tropical Agriculture and Agroecosystems Sciences.

The total amount of $438.51 for the summer semester is collected by the University of Göttingen as part of the enrollment process. Then the amounts that the University of Kassel, transferred from the University of Göttingen. So, the total yearly fee would be $877.02.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- The admission to the master program is granted on the grounds that a BSc of at least 3 years duration in Agriculture or other related degrees at an accredited institution in or outside Germany has been completed.
- Bachelor's degree within Agricultural sciences or a related field of study. Students are selected after ranking according to the overall score of the BSc.
- Other related degrees must prove a minimum of 60 ECTS in plant sciences, animal sciences, resource management, sciences, or economic- and social sciences.
- Applicants who have studied subjects like botany, biochemistry, horticulture, biodiversity, ecology, nature conservation, molecular and cell biology, biotechnology or subjects less related to agriculture are not eligible.
Indian Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Applicants whose first language is not English have to prove a good working knowledge of English. Their proficiency in English must be certified in an internationally recognized test.
- The language test certificate should be no more than two years old at the time of application.
- Exempted from the requirement to provide proof of language proficiency are students whose first language is English and students with at least two-year study or work experience in an English-speaking country within the last three years.
The minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
