  • Students will discover new fields of research and will master the complexities of this field of study. They will be able to link their theoretical knowledge acquired during the program with their future professional life.
  • The course extends and intensifies knowledge already gained and provides special knowledge, for example in manufacturing and creating technical textiles. Furthermore, basic subjects in the natural sciences, engineering and business administration will be introduced.
  • The modules Mathematics for Engineers, Computer Applications in Mechanical Engineering, Technical Mechanics, Business Administration, etc. expand the students' knowledge of the engineering and business aspects of textile and clothing technology.
  • The modules Textile Materials and Test Techniques, Processes and Machinery of Textile Technology, Processes and Machinery of Clothing Technology, etc. expand the subject-specific knowledge.
  • The master's thesis, prepared during the last semester, offers students the chance to apply scientific methods to current research issues.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

  • Applicants must hold a first in Germany recognized university degree that qualifies for a profession or a degree from a state or state-recognized university of cooperative education in the engineering area (normally mechanical engineering, textile engineering, textile technology,
    clothing techniques and ready-to-wear techniques, clothing technology, and ready-to-wear technology) or the mathematical or natural science areas (normally textile chemistry, textile finishing and

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

Are there any english taught bachelors degrees available

Technical University of Dresden does not offer English taught programs at the bachelor’s level. The university offers 22 English taught programs only at the master’s level.

No, you cannot apply for the Master of Science (M.Sc) program in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy without completing a bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related program. You need a recognized university degree that qualifies for a profession of at least six semesters in psychology or a degree from a public or state-approved university of cooperative education in Psychology.
