Anhalt University of Applied Sciences Campus and Accommodation

Anhalt University of Applied Sciences has three campuses under its wing- Bernburg, Dessau-Roßlau and Köthen. They all provide unique facilities for the students and nurtures a very cherishable student life.

• The Bernburg campus houses around 3,000 students who study and reside at the residence halls present on campus. The departments of agriculture, ecotrophology and landscape development, and economics are situated in the Bernburg campus. 53 professors guide, teach and supervise the students regarding academics or additional college-related concerns.
• The Dessau Campus is home to many international students within a small area that incorporates global thinking and exposure. The department of architecture, facility management and geoinformation and department of design are all under this campus.
• There is a library stacked with academic books and articles, Multiple student-led organizations address the need and interests of every student and bring a sense of intercultural bonding on campus.
• The Kothen campus is the most active campus since it is always brimming with activities students can participate in. There are three departments in the campus which are all technology-based- Computer Science and languages, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and engineering management, and applied biosciences and process engineering.
• There is also a preparatory school where 450 students from across the globe prepare to pursue their degree in Germany.
• The StudentenKlub has around 30 members who work in the band, photo club, university radio, Mensa cellar, and VT club. The ISC student club forges cultural differences and encourages friendship across all nationalities, university sports help keep the students active and the dining areas and cafes provide delicious meals all throughout the day.

Accommodation

Anhalt University of Applied Sciences doesn’t offer any on campus accommodation facilities. However, there are a myriad of residential halls and private accommodation options situated at a proximity from the campuses.

• At Bernburg, Theodor Romer Strabe provides three residential facilities which are all identical and they offer a total of 226 rooms each. The rooms are all furnished and have all the basic necessities and amenities like television, telephone and free Wifi.
• In the Dessau campus, the five floor Brauereistrabe 9 E to H has 65 individual apartments with 32 single rooms. There are personal bathrooms and common kitchens. Washing machines, bicycle rooms and parking spots are available.
• In the Kothen campus, different student services and housing portals arrange the perfect housing for incoming students. Shared, personal apartments as well as private residence halls can be accessed aplenty through the different portals and selected based on preferences. All the housing facilities include basic amenities, kitchen, bathroom, laundry and additional benefits.
