The master's program in business informatics deepens the student's skills in IT management, systems thinking and coping with complex technologies. The students will be taught essential economic relationships in the IT sector and strategic entrepreneurial thinking with a view to starting a business. They work on current scientific topics in projects and seminars.
The students can set individual priorities through a wide range of options in the areas of IT security, software development, IT consulting, business data analysis, application support, and IT management.
The business informatics course qualifies the students to manage complex IT projects, to exercise managerial functions in medium-sized and large companies, and to participate in start-ups.

Completed a bachelor's degree in business informatics or a generally closely related degree with at least 210 ECTS points.
If you have a degree with 180 ECTS points, you have the option of completing a BAföG-sponsored adaptation semester or completing the missing ECTS points in parallel to the master's program until you register for the master's thesis.
Work experience of at least 20 weeks (internships within the scope of the first degree are taken into account).
