Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences is a public university that has 25 undergraduate degrees and eleven master’s degree programs in diverse fields namely engineering, economics technology, natural and health sciences, and social. These programs are offered by their two campuses and four faculties. The university offers students a choice to apply for more than one-degree program offered by Rhein-Waal University during an application period. In case they get selected in every program they applied to, they can later decide, even after their arrival in Germany, which course is the best fit for their future.

The application window for international students opens once or twice a year. Applicants can only apply for both summer and winter semesters. Interested applicants, both seeking undergraduate and master’s degrees, can apply online through the portal along with the supporting documents. Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences Campus and Accommodation

Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences has two campuses; one in Kleve and another one in Kamp-Lintfort and both of these campuses feature top-of-the-line equipment including laboratories, libraries, and classrooms. Over 7300 students, representing 120 different nationalities, are enrolled including both campuses of Rhein-Waal University.

To reduce the cost of living in Germany, the university offers financial aid to international students. International students in exceptional cases can be awarded a Bafög scholarship. Apart from that, the following are a few of the scholarships which a student can apply for.

Germany Scholarship: Provides financial support to highly motivated and talented students with exceptional personal achievements and outstanding social involvement. The selection committee of the university selects the student who will be awarded a total of 3,600 EUR per year where a 300 EUR monthly stipend will be awarded to the student.

PROMOS Scholarship: Meant for students who undertake a study abroad semester or an internship. In this, two months of stay abroad(Europe, Germany, or the home country of the applicant are excluded) will be sponsored under this scholarship. The monthly scholarship rate depends on the country the student goes to and is usually in the range of 300-400 Euro per month.
