The Ilmenau University of Technology does not demand a typical tuition fee. Students have to pay 120 USD in the first semester of the Master's course, in the following semesters the contribution fee is103 USD.
- The master's program in Technical Cybernetics and Systems Theory (TKS) is designed to be consecutive and research-oriented. They are building on a basic bachelor's degree in technical cybernetics and systems theory.
- The degree in the Bachelor's degree in Technical Cybernetics and Systems Theory or an equivalent degree is assessed in the aptitude test for admission with 50 points.
