The Ilmenau University of Technology does not demand a typical tuition fee. Students have to pay 120 USD in the first semester of the Master's course, in the following semesters the contribution fee is103 USD.
- The course is research-oriented and consecutive and builds on a research-oriented bachelor's degree in computer science. However, it can also be taken by graduates of bachelor's degrees in engineering, mathematics, business informatics or other related courses.
- The master's degree in computer science aims at a research-oriented deepening of the specialist and methodological skills already acquired in a university course in a major subject of computer science.

- Completion of a related bachelor's degree transcripts is needed.
- Admission to the master's program at the TU Ilmenau requires a passed aptitude test. This aptitude test takes place as a formal test of your certificates.
