Master of Science [M.S] (Electrochemistry and Electroplating)
Field of Study:
The focus of the study is the comprehensive understanding of thermodynamics and kinetics of electrochemical phase boundaries. Among other things, students acquire in-depth knowledge of the technology fields of electrochemical surface technology and electrochemical energy storage and conversion.

Tuition Fees
The Ilmenau University of Technology does not demand a typical tuition fee. Students have to pay 120 USD in the first semester of the Master's course, in the following semesters the contribution fee is103 USD.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- Completion of a related bachelor's degree transcripts is needed.
- Admission to the master's program at the TU Ilmenau requires a passed aptitude test. This aptitude test takes place as a formal test of your certificates.
- CV is required
- Certificate of any previous German knowledge is needed.
