Biomedical engineering is a technology for life. It works directly for the well-being of people. Its goal is the research and development of technology-oriented methods and systems for the early detection, diagnosis, therapy and rehabilitation of diseases. BMT is a multidisciplinary science area at the interface between medicine and technology with extremely high development dynamics.

Tuition Fees
The Ilmenau University of Technology does not demand a typical tuition fee. Students have to pay 120 USD in the first semester of the Master's course, in the following semesters the contribution fee is103 USD.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- Completion of a related bachelor's degree transcripts is needed.
- Admission to the master's program at the TU Ilmenau requires a passed aptitude test. This aptitude test takes place as a formal test of your certificates.
- CV is required
- Certificate of any previous German knowledge is needed.
