NATA 2023 Test 2 and 3 are going to be conducted on May 28 and July 9, 2023 respectively. The registration process for test 2 and 3 is ongoing at the official website – nata.in. Candidates who have qualified Class 12th or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as a mandatory subjects are eligible to apply. What is NATA 2023?
NATA or the National Aptitude Test in Architecture is a national-level entrance exam conducted by COA (Council of Architecture) to provide admissions to 5-year Bachelor of Architecture programs in top-ranked government or private architecture colleges in India.
NATA 2023 Exam Dates
NATA 2023 Exam Date has been announced along with the information brochure on the official website, nata.in. Candidates can check NATA 2023 exam date for all three tests in the section below. COA is going to conduct NATA 2023 in two sessions on each of the given exam dates. Session 1 from 10 AM to 1 PM and Session 2 from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

NATA 2023 Admit Card
NATA 2023 Admit card has been released for 1st NATA exam on April 18, 2023. Successfully registered candidates can now download their admit cards from the official portal.
- Candidates should log in via registered credentials and download the admit card once available.
- After downloading, check the details mentioned on the admit card like name, application number, exam date, time, and venue.
- If any errors are found in NATA Admit Card, contact the concerned authority.
- It is recommended to keep the printed copy of admit card till the admission process is over.
NATA 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility Criteria to apply for NATA 2023 exam are mentioned below:
- Age: No minimum age criteria are specified by the Council of Architecture.
- Educational Qualification: Candidate must have completed 10+2 with PCM from a recognized board.
- Minimum Marks: Candidates must have scored 50% aggregate in PCM.
- Appearing candidates: Candidates currently appearing for 10+2 can also apply for NATA exam.
- Lateral entries are not allowed for NATA applications.

New Registration
- Go to the official website of NATA https://www.nata.in/
- Click on the NATA 2023 registration link and a new sign up form will appear.
- Enter your details like name, unique email ID, date of birth, and the security question.
- Set a strong password from your end. An OTP will be required for validation.
- Click the ‘sign-up’ button at the end.
- The unique application number will be generated. Keep it in the record for further usage.
Filling NATA 2023 Application Form
- Fill in all the personal information like Name, Parent’s Name, Nationality, Category, Date of Birth, Aadhar number, government ID proofs, permanent and temporary address.
- Fill your choice of examination i.e. one or two attempts.
- Choose the test center preference as per your choice and location.
- Fill in the other educational details like 10th and 12th marks, name of boards, pass out the year, and stream name.

NATA 2023 FAQs
Ques: Can I apply for NATA 2023 in offline mode?
Ans: NATA 2023 will be conducted by the Council of Architecture in online mode only. NATA application forms will also be available only in online mode. Even the error correction window will be available for some time only in online mode on the official website.
Ques: Is there a negative marking in NATA 2023 exam?
Ans: Fortunately, there are no criteria for negative marking for wrong answers in NATA exam. Questions may be of 2 marks, 3 marks, or 4 marks depending on the section but no marks are deducted for wrong answers. It is recommended to attempt all questions in the NATA exam.
Ques: How can I avail the form correction facility in NATA exam?
Ans: The error correction window is available from April 8 – 10, 2023. Some details like Name, contact ID cannot be corrected, and all other details can be changed. Once the notification of form correction is released, you may log in via registered credentials and mark the required details correctly on the official portal.
Ques: Are there special preferences for domicile candidates in Architecture colleges?
Ans: Yes, there are special preferences for domicile candidates. Suppose you apply for a Gujrati Architecture college and you are from another state, then the cut-off percentile for a Gujrati candidate will be less than that of yours. Try to search for a good college in your state, if possible.
Ques: Is 120 out of 200 a good score in NATA?
Ans: Generally, scores near 150 are the maximum in NATA exam. So 120 out of 200 is a very good score that may bring you a good overall percentile.
Ques: Is there any importance of the marks obtained in the qualifying exam in NATA?
Ans: Yes, first of all, the marks in the qualifying exam (10+2) are an eligibility basis for NATA as you must have 40%+ to apply for NATA exam. Later on, suppose two students hold the same rank in the NATA exam, then their AIR will be prepared based on marks in the qualifying exam only.
