Telangana BSc Nursing Admission 2023 is done through state level entrance exam. KNRUHS conducts the Telangana BSc Nursing Admission Process every year. 

Telangana BSc Nursing entrance exam is conducted by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) for admission to BSc Nursing in various private and government colleges in Telangana. Those who have successfully cleared the entrance exam will be notified and called for a counselling session. Telangana BSc Nursing 2023 application form will be released online in December 2023. 

BSc Nursing is a 4 years professional undergraduate course in the field of healthcare. To be eligible for BSc Nursing in Telangana, one must score a minimum 45% marks in science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects.

Telangana BSc Nursing Admission 2023: Eligibility

To be eligible for Telangana BSc Nursing Admission 2023, the applicants must complete at least class 12 in Science stream from a recognised board. Here is the detailed eligibility criteria for Telangana BSc Nursing Admission 2023.

  • The applicants must pass class 12 or HSE from a recognised educational board in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) and English as compulsory subjects.
  • They must score a minimum of 45% marks at the HSE exam.
  • Those who have completed Vocational Nursing/ MPHW Bridge program in Physical Sciences and Biological Sciences, or an equivalent exam are also eligible to apply for Telangana BSc Nursing Admission 2023.
  • The applicants must have a minimum age of 17 years and not more than 35 years at the time of admission.

Application Fee

The application fee for Telangana BSc Nursing 2023 is the same for everyone. One must pay an application fee of INR 700.

  • The fee is to be deposited offline via demand draft addressed to the Director of Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences.
  • The applicants must send the demand draft along with the application form before the last date.

Admit Card

The admit card will be released online by the conducting authority on the official website. The applicants can download the admit card using the application number and the dob. 

  • Download the admit card and print out a copy of it.
  • The applicants must keep in mind that without the admit card, they are not allowed to sit in the examination hall.
  • The applicant must keep the admit card safe as it will be used in future for admission.

Results

Telangana BSc Nursing exam results will be released only by the conducting authority.

  • Those who have successfully cleared the exam will get notification from the university. 
  • The results will be declared online for the candidates reference on the official website. 
  • The applicants must visit the official website using the credentials. They can save the results from the website. 
  • The result will be prepared in order of merit. 

Counselling Process

After the release of the merit list, the counselling process will be conducted. The official authority will release the merit list based on the performance of the applicants on the entrance exam. 

  • First, the official will release a notification of the counselling process. 
  • Those who are in the merit list will be called for the counselling session.
  • The applicant must carry the original documents during counselling, it will be verified by the university through documents verification process.

It is a computer-based test and will be conducted in 150 test centers in 14 cities across the country.  Number of seats available for B.Sc Nursing (Hons.) at AIIMS Delhi is 571. B.Sc Nursing students need to pay a security deposit of INR 1000 for the hostel. Mess fees need to be paid separately. The current mess charges for four meal format fixed menu is around INR 2000.
