Army College of Dental Sciences is affiliated to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada (A.P) and is recognized by the Dental Council of India. ACDS offers quality dental education at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. At present, it offers BDS and MDS programs in various specializations.BDS program is of four years duration with one-year of internship. The minimum duration required to complete the MDS program is three years. The academic year for BDS and MDS commences from August 01 and May 01 every year.
Minimum eligibility for BDS is 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology while for MDS, a BDS degree is mandatory.
For MDS. program, candidates have to produce a certificate of Internship from the date of registration with any State Dental Council, either from an Institution or from a Registered Dental Practitioner.
A valid score in NEET UG is mandatory for BDS and NEET PG score for MDS.
Only children, dependent and wards of defense personnel are eligible for admission to the courses offered by ACDS.
34 seats under MDS will be filled through NEET PG and six seats will be filled on the basis of TS EAMCET score. These six seats will be filled as per the rules governed by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal (Telangana).

ACDS offers BDS program recognized by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal (Telangana) at UG level. This is a four-year program with 12 months of compulsory rotatory internship.
Admission is granted on the basis of score in NEET UG for 34 seats while remaining 6 seats are filled on the basis of score in TS EAMCET by Kaloji university. Final admission is based on counselling.
The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the course is a pass in HSC/ Intermediate/ any other 10+2 level exam in Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Mathematics). Candidates are further required to score a minimum of 50% marks in the science subjects taken together. The applicants are also required to have studied English as a compulsory subject at 10+2 level.

ACDS BDS Application Process: Aspiring candidates may download the application form from the institute’s website and send it, duly filled, to the institute campus along with a copy of their NEET (UG) scorecard. For payment of application fee, candidates must obtain a Demand Draft of INR 800 and must enclose the same with the complete application form.
ACDS offers MDS program at postgraduate level. Students with a valid NEET PG score are eligible for admission.
Application form along with the application fee of INR 800 through DD drawn in favor of ‘Army College of Dental Science’ payable at Secunderabad, Hyderabad. The application form can also be collected from ACDS/ Command HQ (AWES)/ Army HQ (AWES), New Delhi on payment of application fee through cash.
