Apart from the merit scholarship, the institute also offer other schoalrships, details are listed below:
- Girl Child Scholarship Scheme (for Haryana Domicile): SDDGPI offers Special Scholarship in the form of 15% waiver in Tuition Fee under this scholarship.
Note:
- All Eligible students can avail only one scholarship at one time.
- Decision of Scholarship Committee regarding percentage of fee waiver applicable for the concerned student will be final and students won’t be allowed to move to higher or lower slabs in subsequent years of study. Tuition fee waiver at same percentage offered at the time of admission will continue in subsequent years of study, subject to fulfilment of required conditions of minimum attendance in each subjects and maintaining required CGPA.
- Scholarship is applicable on some of the courses.
- COVID-19 Warriors Scholarship Scheme: As a mark of gratitude towards the selfless services rendered by Covid-19 warriors, Special Scholarship in the form of 15% waiver in Tuition Fee will be offered to their wards. Below mentioned are the list of criteria for availing this scholarship:
- Wards of Doctors, Nurses, Para-Medical Staff, Lab Staff and Housekeeping Staff working in any Government/ Private Hospitals or in Deptt of Health of any State/Central Govt.
- Wards of Police and Paramilitary Personals working in any State/ UT
- Wards of Sanitation Workers of Municipal Committee or Corporations
- Wards of Media Persons (Print & Electronic)
- Wards of Bank Employees
- Haryana Scholarship 2024: The eligibility criteria for availing the Haryana Scholarship is mentioned below:
- The Candidate must be a resident of Haryana.
- The Candidate should belong to either Scheduled Caste (SC),Backward Classes (BC), OBC.
- The Candidate should have Haryana domicile .
- Candidate’s Parent’s annual Income should be below 2.50 lacs.
- The Amount is directly transferred to the Candidate’s bank account after verifying the complete details.
- The application form should be attested and submitted

- Qualification mark sheet or proof of education
- Bank details
- Aadhar card
- Address proof
- Income certificate
- CAP admission allotment letter
- Caste or category certificate
- Fees receipt

- Sports scholarship scheme: The government of Haryana is working towards the empowerment of the Sportspersons of the state and is of the view that the economically deprived talented sportsperson should be encouraged financially. Accordingly, it has been decided to grant the Scholarship to the student sportsperson of SC and other-than-SC categories on the following rates from the financial year 2024-2025:

For participation, an amount of INR 18,000 is offered as scholarship to the SC candidates.
General Conditions/ Instructions for the scheme shall be as under:
- Only student sportspersons who are domiciles of Haryana representing the State of Haryana will be eligible for the scholarship
- Scholarships will be given only to the students whose parents’/ guardians' income from all sources, during the year of sports achievement, does not exceed:
a) INR 2.50 lakh in case of SC Student.
b) INR 1.80 lakh for all other categories
- Income certificate is required to be attached with the application form.
- It is mandatory for the applicant to mention his/ her Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) ID in the application.
- The sportsperson found involved in sports related misconduct will not be eligible.
- The students should not have failed during the relevant year.
- The scholarship will be given on the basis of achievements in the preceding year, for a period of one year i.e. during the financial year subsequent to the year of achievement.
- The benefit will be given to the winners of national and international tournaments in games/ disciplines/ events specified under the government's policy for grant of cash awards. For the state level tournaments corresponding to the national tournaments included in the government's policy for grant of cash awards will be considered.
- The applicant who has applied for a sports scholarship from SAI or Central government or any other agency on account of the said achievements will not be eligible to apply under the scheme.
