Bharati Vidyapeeth, the well known organisation was founded in the year 1964 by honourable Dr. Patangraoji Kadam and Bharati Institute of Technology (BVIT) Navi Mumbai was established in the year 1983.

The facilities available at Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Technology are listed as follows:

Library: It is a house of knowledge that straight away provides staff and students an huge variety of resources where teaching and learning flourished. The library hall has 160+ seating capacity with high-speed Wi-Fi, multimedia personal computers and the working hours is 9 to 5 and 41358 books in volume covering all aspects of engineering and also related areas like humanities and social science.
Hostel: College provides in – campus hostel facility well hygienic hostel separate accommodation for boys and girls. Total accommodation for boys’ and girls’ hostels is 250. Hostel has a television hall to watch TV and also facilitates daily newspapers for students' knowledge updates.
Workshops: The college has a fully equipped workshop facility in a separate building to provide hands-on training to next generation engineers.
Consumer’s Co-operative store: The college provides in campus co - operative stores for students which aims at satisfying day to day basic stationary needs of the students and other requirements. A permanent store in charge is assigned full time to run the store properly.
