About DRTTIT

Dr. T. Thimmaiah Institute of Technology (Formerly known as Golden Valley Institute of Technology – GVIT) was eastablished by Dr. T Thimmaiah, Ph. D (London), IAS (Retired) in 1986 under the efforts of Golden Valley Educational Trust. Its main purpose is to impart quality technical education.

It is recognized by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi
It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU)

Research:

District Bio-Fuel Information & Demonstration – It seeks to promote and bring the project forward in relation with the conduction of various awareness & training programs to Grama Panchayats, School & Colleges etc.
It is currently manufacturing Pongamia oil – For domestic lighting purpose, De - oiled cake – Fertilizer for agriculture, Bio Diesel – Alternate Fuel for Motor vehicles, Bio soap – Bathing and other purposes.
