KGISL Institute of Technology Coimbatore Admission 2024: Courses, Eligibility, Selection Process

The Institute under its undergraduate program provides four years bachelor degree program in technology and engineering (B.E/B.Tech). 

The basic eligibility criteria for admissions to the same are 10+2. The admission to BE/B.Tech course is based on TNEA counselling. 

B.E and B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• The minimum eligibility is that the candidates must have completed 10+2 with 50% aggregate marks and studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• Candidates must be between 18 and 25 years of age to be eligible to apply.

B.E and B.Tech Selection Process

• Admissions are made through single window counselling based on TNEA merit list which is prepared on the basis of Class 12th score. 
• The seats are allotted through the TNEA counseling process, conducted by Anna University.
• Candidates must be a domiciled resident of Tamil Nadu to be eligible to apply.
• Once the seat is allotted, candidates will have to collect their allotment order and bring it to the allotted college to complete the admission process. Candidates must report to the allotted college before the due date.

The Institute under its postgraduate program provides a two years master degree program in engineering. 

ME eligibility Criteria

• Applications to the M.E. courses are accepted from candidates who have completed B.E. / B.Tech in relevant specialization with 50% aggregate marks from the recognized University.
• Admissions to the M.E. courses are also done on the basis of TANCET scores.

ME Selection Process

• Candidates for admission to the first semester of the Post-Graduate Degree Programme shall be required to have passed an appropriate Under-Graduate Degree Examination of Anna University as specified under qualification for admission as per the Tamil Nadu Common Admission (TNACA) criteria. 
• Candidates who qualify the TANCET entrance exam will have to appear for the counselling process to get admissions into the desired college in the state.
• Candidates that score the marks above or equal to the qualifying cut-off marks will be called for the counselling.
• On the basis of the performance of candidates in the entrance examination, the seats will be allotted. 
• The seats are allotted through the TANCET counseling process.
• After the seat allocation process, candidates will be able to report to the allotted college/institution on due date and time.
