City College Admissions
The candidates seeking admission to B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com. must have passed class XII in relevant subjects from any of the following boards - WBCHSE/ ISC/ CBSE/ NIOS/ WBCROS Boards. Selection to all the courses is strictly on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam. Merit list is prepared considering the candidate’s performance in the top four subjects in the qualifying exam and the performance in the concerned subject. The admissions generally begin in the month of June every year. The application process for all the courses is conducted
through online mode i.e. the candidate is required to visit the official website of City College to apply for admission.

- The curriculum is set by the University of Calcutta, and our college has the best faculty in this field.
- Companies like Microsoft and Google provide a good working environment and internships with a stipend of 10 to 15 thousand rupees.
- College students can easily apply for jobs as our college and university have reputable names.
- There is no loan facility for the students, and they cannot obtain it from the college or on the day of school either. The principal and all the batch are good.
- Here we have three libraries along with our college and practical labs are attached to our departmental classrooms. Our sports facilities are also very good. Every year, our college organizes a sports competition and everybody can participate in it.
- The canteen food is pretty good. There is also a meal card that can provide you with a whole thali regularly.
- For admission to my college, good marks in the HS exam are required, and I had good marks in HS.
Dislike
- The placement is not up to par, and I am unsatisfied with the placement as the college informed students.
- There is no scholarship facility offered by my college. The authority of the college is of very poor quality
