Fateh Chand College for Women Admissions 2023: Merit List, Application process

At undergraduate level, Fateh Chand College for Women (FCC) offers several courses in the field of Arts, Commerce, Science and Computers in various specializations. The courses thus offered are Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) for a duration period of three years. The number of seats depends upon the nature of specializations opted by the candidates.

Candidates who have successfully completed their 10+2 level in relevant discipline are eligible to participate in the admission process. However, those who meet the eligibility criteria will only be selected on the basis of marks obtained in their last qualifying examination.

• The admission will be given to the student who has passed the Senior Secondary (10 + 2 system) examination of Haryana Education Board or CBSE Senior Secondary Examination or other equivalent examination recognized by the University of Kurukshetra with minimum of 40% marks
• The admissions of scheduled caste, tribe and backward classes only need to be in 10 + 2
• Compartment students can apply in 10 + 2 in one subject. They will be admitted only if the vacant place. These girls will have to pass their compartment within the stipulated time.

List of UG courses:

As far as post graduation is concerned, Fateh Chand College for Women offers two courses to the girls students. The courses are Master of Arts (MA) in Psychology and Master of Commerce (M.Com) in Commerce. The duration period for each of the specializations is two years. Intake capacity depends upon the nature of courses opted by the selected candidates.

Candidates seeking admission in MA are bound to study Psychology at the graduation level. They must have successfully completed their graduation with minimum marks as required by the college. Failing to meet the eligibility criteria will lead to the elimination of the candidates from the admission process. Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in last qualifying examination.

Admission in M.Com is also merit based. Candidates should have studied and passed Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline in order to seek admission in the above mentioned course.
