Candidates seeking for the admission in undergraduate programs in engineering at Cambridge Institute of Technology can do so via one of the following processes:

Management Admission Process

Admission through Management Admission process is open for Karnataka and non-Karnataka domicile students. SAARC and other foreign candidates are also eligible to apply through the management admission process. Management candidates will also be selected based on their academic merit.

Eligibility

Candidates who have passed the higher secondary pattern of examination with Physics and Mathematics as main subjects in the qualifying examination are eligible to pursue an undergraduate degree in engineering.

For admission a minimum of 45% score is necessary for the General category candidates and 40% score in the qualifying examination for SC/ST, Category-1, and OBC category candidates. Alongwith the minimum qualification, the candidate should also have cleared the entrance exam: KEA / COMEDK and admission will depend on the cutoff list generated by the college.

CIT Scholarship

Hostel: College offers hostel facility for both Boys and Girls separate with the capacity of 500 each. Shortly college is planning to build more hostels for the students. Hostels are annexed with a kitchen along with a dining hall. It is also equipped with a 24 *7 water facility and hot water facility.
Gym: Gym facility is available for physical fitness to the students.
Library: Library facilitates more than 26,000 books and 75 National and International Journals. At any point of time 250 members can be seated.
Sports: In-door sports hall includes table tennis, carrom board, chess, etc. Outdoor sports facilities are 20 yards ground, 110 yards multipurpose Ground, volleyball court, Throw Ball Court, Ball Badminton Court & BasketBall Court (Court). 200 meter running track, Football court, Hockey court, Softball, and Multiple Athletic events.
Cafeteria: The cafeteria is facilitated within the campus and it provides a wide variety of Indian snacks and dishes are available for breakfast, lunch, etc.

I took an entrance exam that is kcet and I got around 40k rank in it. In the kcet, 2 phases of reservations will be there is a rural quota. Those who studied in rural schools get a reservation for rural quota. And those who studied in Kannada medium get kannada medium quota. In total 20 percent of reservations.

I joined the college through K-CET my ranking was 35k. I applied for both cs and ec but ec was allowed due to low ranking, I am happy with what I got. you can join college through COMED K, KCET, management offer a few seats. I was a general merit student no reservation was availed.

I took admission in management quota and lab equipment needs to be improved to create a proper playground and to build new parking and provide wifi efficiently on the college campus and need to verify every student by checking id cards and some professors need to be passionate.

Got admission through Management quota. Admission requires either Kcet or JEE mains examinations. The cut-off for each course with specialization varies each year depending on the number of students appearing for the exams.
