Jawahar Engineering College Admissions 2024: Courses, Fees, Eligibility Criteria

The institute offers admission to the B.Tech. course under 1 specialization and B.E. course under 4 specializations. Higher Secondary examination qualified students can apply for admission to the course.

Eligibility

The candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination with 50%.

Selection Criteria

• The candidates are selected based on the merit in the class 12 followed TNEA Counselling
• TNEA Merit list is prepared based on the candidate's marks scored in the relevant subjects like Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics at 10+2 level.
• The authority publishes the list of the candidates based on which they will participate in the different rounds of counselling.
• Applicant can participate in the counselling only after the successful payment of the initial deposit. Hence, they must submit fees in the given time frame.
• According to the payment schedule of the rounds, candidates have to submit the initial counselling fee through online mode of payment i.e. Net Banking, Debit Card and Credit card.
• Now candidates need to fill the choice of course and college i.e Jawahar College of Engineering.
• After choice filling, candidates have to lock the filled choices on the third day of the commencement of counselling.
• Post locking, the system will allot seats to the candidates based on their rank.
• After the final allotment, candidates have to reach the allotted college before the last date mentioned on the provisional allotment letter.

Cutoff

Cut-off is the minimum marks required for the admission of students. The candidates will be selected on the basis of these cut off scores.
