Gobi Arts and Science College was established in the year 1968 is located in Karattadipalayam, Gobichettipalayam. The college is affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.
The College offers Aided and Unaided UG and PG programs and full-time and part-time Ph.D. and M.Phil. Program. The UG program includes B.Sc. / BA/ B.Com/ BBA/ BCA and PG programs includes M.Sc. / MA/ M.Com/ MCA program.

- For MCA course, it is mandatory for the applicants to qualify TANCET conducted by the Anna University.
- Selection of the candidates in any UG/ PG course is done on the basis of candidate’s merit in the qualifying examination.
- For Ph.D. and M.Phil. Courses, the affiliating Bharathiar University conducts written test and interview and the qualified candidates are given admission as per their merit.

Gobi Arts and Science College offers Aided and Unaided UG programs in its curriculum which is B.Sc. (Aided) of three-year duration with five specializations, B.Sc. Gobi Arts and Science College runs M.Sc. (Aided) in Mathematics, M.Sc. (Unaided) in 4 specializations, MA (Aided) in Economics, MA (Unaided) in English, M.Com (Aided), M.Com (Unaided) in Computer Application, MCA (Aided) and PGDCA (Unaided) courses. Gobi Arts and Science College Application Process 2023
For UG & PG Courses:
- Candidates shall apply separately for aided and unaided UG/ PG and Research courses.
- Application form is available in the college on purchase of Prospectus with application form.
- All the instructions are given in the prospectus issued by the institute.
- Each Application form is assigned a serial number and is registered in the computer along with an OMR sheet.
- For MCA, candidates need to apply for TANCET to appear in the entrance examination.
- Applicants applying for the Ph.D. and M.Phil. Program shall download the form from the University’s website.

Admission:
You have to get a minimum of 50 per cent in class 12 for the eligibility to apply for the degree. Application details and fees collected from the main office room. There is a reservation for sc, st, and bc. The management improve their communication skill during the time of admission process

The admission process was nice. No entrance exam in my college and cut-off marks are very important. First priority is cut off in my college. The application form was provided office room. I want to see so much improvement in the admission process

As I was a merit student I received a message from the college about the counselling date. On that day I attended the counselling and I was selected as a 7th student and I was said to pay the first year fees of? 7500 on the collection counter. They also said about the opening date of the classes on that day itself.

Must complete 12th standard. I got an application form from the college. If you get a government seat, fees are much less. If you join in a private seat it will be high compared to the government. When I joined that time fees were 7K per semester. As of my knowledge, there are no improvements needed, everything is fine.

The admission process was held by the management as per eligibility of the course. Because our college has management courses & Aided courses. if want admission for Aided courses we have to apply and wait for counseling or else we have to choose management Quota.

In this addmission process discuss the application process. The eligibility for the course is based on higher secondary marks. I found that the application form, dates, and fees are all on the college campus. I went to the college directly and knew all the details about my courses like fee structure application details joining details everything. they are not discussing the reservation details, so i dont know about reservation benifits.

In Aided we should have minimum marks of 65% in Higher Secondary Schooling. We should find the application fee structure and other information on the college website[ GOBI ARTS & SCIENCE COLLEGE]. If the students are from the community of SC, ST, are given special quotes and reservation benefits in aided college. Candidates should have completed their Undergraduate degree programmes, such as BCA, B. Sc, B. Com or a similar stream and should have scored at least 50 Percent marks at the under graduate level, Mathematics should be a compulsory subject in the +2 grade in order to eligible.Candidates seeking admission to Mca programme will have to appear for the Tamilnadu Common Entrace Test conducted by Anna University and advised to look for separate ad to be released by the Director of Collegiate Education, Chennai. Can apply in online from the official website of the college, Application Fees Rs. 300, admission will be on the basis of marks and reservation quota prescribed by government, 3 seats in PG course shall be reserved for the Children of Ex- Service man of tamilnadu, and 2% of seats reserved for sports student.
