College of Architecture Trivandrum (CAT), established in 2011, is one of the largest architectural schools in India. CAT offers only under graduate programs. Under those UG Programs, Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) and Bachelor of Design (B. Des.) are offered. The key features of the courses have been tabulated below:

Selection Criteria:
Selection of the Candidates for Admission in CAT is done on the basis of merit and Entrance tests of NATA, UCEED, NID. Counselling is done for those candidates who have qualified NATA.
How to Apply?
Candidates can apply for admission through Offline mode only. Candidates applying for any Course can follow below listed steps:
- Candidates can obtain the Application form of INR 1000 from the admission office of CAT.
- Pay the Application fee at the fee counter of the Institute. The fee is INR 1000.
- Submit the Application form with the documents required at the time of admission to the Institute Address:

Hostel: The college has a separate hostel for girls and boys which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. There are many other facilities in the Hostel which are Gymnasium, Badminton Court, Ironing and washing, Kitchen, cooking and storage facilities.
Gym: The college has a Gym facility for the students to stay fit and Healthy.
Library: The college has the library facility for all the students.
Sports: The college has the sports facilities for all students in which the students can play badminton and other sports.
IT Infrastructure: The college has Two computer lab of 30 PC’s each with two server rooms with WIFI.
Cafeteria: The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.
Auditorium: The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminar.
Transportation: The college has a transport facility for students and staff.
Wi-fi: The College has WIFI connectivity throughout the campus with high network speed.

Ques. What is the eligibility of CAT Courses?
- Age: Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December 2020. No relaxation of age will be allowed.
- Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India.
- For B.Arch.: Candidate should have completed 12th class with a minimum of 50% marks with Mathematics as a subject. Physics and Chemistry with 50% marks and Mathematics with 60% marks in aggregate. Valid NATA score is mandatory.
- For B. Des.: Candidates should have completed 12th class with a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates must pass in NATA/UCEED/NID(MAINS).
