Vidyalankar Institute of Technology Mumbai BE Computer Engineering: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Aspirants seeking admission to the Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

• The candidate should be an Indian National;
• Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together; and The Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority; Or
• Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only)

Vidyalankar Institute of Technology offers courses of undergraduate level engineering degree programs in five specializations, Information Technology, Computer Technology, Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, and Biomedical Engineering. 

VIT Mumbai B.E. Eligibility

Intermediate Graduate in science stream with an aggregated pass percentage with a minimum of 50% marks in the subjects Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology any technical vocational subject combined. For the reservation category, 45% is considered.

VIT Mumbai B.E. Selection Criteria

• When applying for Biomedical Engineering it is preferred to have Biology or Biotechnology as a subject in senior secondary education. 
• Allotment of seats would be done through the Maharashtra State Level Engineering Counselling Process based on the candidates’ rank and marks obtained in the MHT CET/ PG CET/ JEE Mains. This process would be continued for all the B.E courses that are offered by VIT Mumbai.
• Foreign/ NRI candidates can apply directly for admissions based on the marks that are obtained in the last qualifying examination they give.

• Nationality Certificate or Birth Certificate or the PAssport.

• Caste Validity Certificate and Caste Certificate (Reservations students)
• Gap certificate (if any)

Application Process:

• Apply online at the MHT-CET website before the last date. The payment of the fees can be done online via net banking or any other form of e-banking. 
• Follow the basic registration rules by filling it out with relevant information. 
• Receive the Application number and password to their MHT CET account 
• Upload scanned copies of passport-sized photographs and signatures.
• Pay the fee of INR 800/- online
• Save and print the complete application form with the payment receipt or acknowledgment slip for reference.
