Vidyalankar Polytechnic College is situated in Mumbai, Maharashtra and it was established in 2002.Vidyalankar Polytechnic (VP) is among top engineering polytechnic institutes of the state with an 11 acre campus area offering engineering diploma education to SSC (Class 10th) students.
It is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and Government of Maharashtra. It is affiliated to Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE). The institute aims to convert students' manpower into the efficiency of the society by imparting technical skills through training and ethical values with the sense of leadership.
Vidyalankar Polytechnic offers 3 year diploma courses in three different branches of engineering namely, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Information Technology. It also provides 6 years (3+3) engineering diploma with B.S. as Undergraduate course.
The first 3 years of this UG program will be offered in India and next three years of B.S. at University of South California, USA. The admission in the courses is given on the basis of score in class 10th exams.
Hostel facilities are not available for its students. Additional campus facilities such as Auditorium, ATM, Canteen, Counselling, Gym, Gymkhana, Library, Medical Facilities, Sports are present there.

Vidyalankar Polytechnic Mumbai Admissions 2024
Admission to the Diploma program at Vidyalankar Polytechnic is granted on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the 10+2 qualifying exams. Admission to the program is also granted via Lateral Entry.
Another option available is to pursue a degree in Engineering. One can get admission directly into the second year of degree after completing three years of diploma. Hence, it will be 3 years of diploma & 3 years of degree, a total of 6 years of engineering education. The option of choosing B.Sc. courses are also available after diploma. Another option for Vidyalankar Polytechnic students is to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (B.S.) in the U.S.A. (University of South Carolina).

Vidyalankar’s sprawling campus of 11 acres has a unique state of the art and grand regal structure. The institute offers the following facilities to its students:
Common Room: The institute has a spacious common room with facilities for playing indoor games which remains open during the college hours. Several periodicals, including some of the popular English/Marathi journals and a collection of selected works of well-known authors are available in the common room for the use of the students. English and Marathi daily newspapers are also kept for the students. There are arrangements for playing indoor games like table tennis, carom, chess etc. There is a separate common room for girl students. Indoor game facilities are available also in this common room.
Student Healthcare: A tie-up with Students’ Health Home provides medical benefits to students at a normal charge. The College provides emergency medical support to the students and the staff.
Cafeteria: There are several canteens inside the college campus. Some of these canteens are exclusively students’ canteens. A faculty canteen is located in the teachers’ common room. Several canteens are designated to the respective departmental staff members.
Gymnasium: The College has a well-equipped modern multigym where students can augment their strength and fitness levels any time during the College hours. To help them choose the proper training regime, two well-qualified instructors have been appointed by the College
Internet: The College has a wide network of Broadband Internet connections. Internet facilities are available to the students in the library premises. The office, establishment, accounts, and the principal office also have the net facilities. The institute has 12 labs and they could accommodate at least 50 students. Around 90 workstations are available in labs, classrooms are air-conditioned and can accommodate 90 students.
Grievance Cell: The College listens to the grievances of the students at the GRC which comprises the teaching staff.
Entrepreneurship Cell: It focuses to develop the institutional mechanisms to create a parallel corporate culture with an aim to foster entrepreneurial qualities among the budding professionals.
