Maniben Nanavati Women's College is a Private institution in the Indian city of Mumbai and was established in 1972 under the aegis of Bhagini Seva Mandir Kumarika Stree Mandal. Smart Classrooms: The institution has commodious, well-ventilated, and well-developed lecture halls where daily lectures are conducted. All the classrooms are well-resourced with an Air-Conditioner, Cameras, Table, Chairs, Projector, ICT, and Internet Facilities. This arrangement allows teachers to deliver course content through PowerPoint Presentations, Animated Videos, and PDFs. Students can also collaborate and discuss topics by accessing digital learning resources. 

Common Rooms: When it comes to taking care of student's privacy and comfort, the MNWC has not left any stone unturned and has built a common room for both girls and boys. After the canteen, this space is the favorite place for students to rejuvenate themselves.

Library: An amazing, fully air-conditioned, and technology-enabled Knowledge Center has been established by the college on its campus, to inculcate reading habits in students, and support the teaching-learning and research programs. All the library services are automated and managed by SLIM 21 Library Management Software. Barcode and QR code technologies followed by OPAC facilities are also implemented in the library. It has subscribed to NLIST & J-gate Databases along with Drillbit Anti Plagiarism Software to detect plagiarism in documents and give seamless access to 6000+ e-journals, 31,350000 e-books, and millions of journal articles offered by 14,482 Publishers.

The library is home to 40276 Books, 69 periodicals, 2247 Bound Volumes & 851 AV Resources, and 10 newspapers (Available in English, Hindi, Gujarati & Marathi Language) including Times of India, Mumbai Mirror, Economic Times, Indian Express, Gujarat Samachar, Janmbhoomi, Mumbai Samachar, Navbharat Times, Maharashtra Times, and Divya Bhaskar. Free internet in cyberspace followed by facilities like Book Bank, Repographic for Xerox, printouts, and scanning of the document, Reference, and Inter-Library Loan are available here. A separate Reading Room has also been built to provide a calm ambiance to both students and teachers.

An active Library Advisory Committee takes care of all the activities and this space remains open from Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and on Saturday from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Activities like the Annual Book Exhibition, Workshop on “Literature Search & Reference Management”, and Quiz Competition are regularly organized here from time to time.

Office Management & Secretarial Practices Lab: This lab has been developed on the college campus to train B.Com students in Front and Back Office Management followed by administrative activities related to various industries, and business houses. Apart from this, knowledge of Shorthand Typing and Entrepreneurship is delivered by the highly competent, and trained faculty. 

Tourism & Travel Management Lab: This lab is dedicated to preparing students for the dynamic and highly competitive Tourism & Travel industry. All kinds of necessary resources are available here.

Seminar Hall: A highly developed and new gen Seminar Hall has been built by MNWC to smoothly organize events and activities such as Seminars, Conferences, Workshops, Project Presentations, Debates, Personality Development Sessions, Mock Interviews, and Group Discussions. Amphitheater: This space is dedicated by the college for events including Student Farewell, Street Plays, Rehearsals, Gender Melas, farewell functions, Career Fair, and Women’s Day Celebrations, etc. It is located in the backyard of the campus and has a circular and semi-circular sitting area with sliding panels for displays, an open area for performances along a well-developed carpeted floor with green mats. A large number of events such as street plays, rehearsals, gender melas, farewell functions, and entertainment events are performed here.

Sports and Gym: A Sports Room also exists on the college campus, and the key objective behind establishing this facility is to allow students to play and enjoy Table Tennis Table / Net / Rackets / Balls, Taekwondo, Boxing, Chess, Carom, etc. Apart from this, big playgrounds have been developed for games like Cricket, Malkhamb, Badminton, Hand Balls, Football, etc. Then there is a renowned gym with the latest exercise equipment. Both students and staff members can avail the membership of this gym. They can also come here thrice a week on working days.

Canteen: A spacious and aesthetically developed Canteen is there in the institution to provide wholesome meals to both students and staff members at subsidized rates. In addition to enjoying their lunch, students come here to have informal chit-chat with their peers, seniors, and mentors.

Laboratories: As an institution feels incomplete without teachers, so do the studies without hands-on exposure. Hence following labs have been established by the college on its campus:

  • English Language Lab: To enhance the reading, writing, and speaking skills of students so that they can confidently interact with people and crack interviews of big companies easily.
  • Psychology Laboratory: This lab is well-resourced with the latest equipment essential for carrying out experiments in psychology. Apart from this, it is used for conducting Aptitude tests, Personality Tests, Diagnostic tests, I.Q. tests, and Cognitive tests.

  • Pattern Making and Garment Construction (PMGC) Laboratory: This lab has Zuki Machines, Sewing Machines, Usha Allure Machines, Drape Forms, Mannequin, Drafting Tables, and LCD Projectors.
