MIC College of Technology was started in 2002 and is a pioneer institute of education in the country. At present, it offers various undergraduate and postgraduate level programs including B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA. Affiliated to the JNTU Kakinada, the institute offers 6 specializations at the undergraduate level as well as at the postgraduate level.

MIC College of Technology UG Admission 2023
MIC College of Technology offers admission to B.Tech. programs on the basis of performance in the state level entrance known as the AP EAMCET, conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Candidates should have passed at the 10+2 level from the science stream to be eligible to apply.
AP EAMCET consists of a 3-hour paper with 90 questions covering all relevant subject matter to the engineering field.
- There are a total of 160 questions.
- The paper consists of MCQs and the test is conducted online.
- Each correct answer is worth one mark.

Candidates are selected in 2 categories – Category A which accounts for 70% of the seats which will be filled by the Convener. Category B comprises 30% of the seats to be filled by the college itself, in line with the rules of the state govt. MIC College of Technology PG Admission 2023
MIC College of Technology offers admission to M.Tech. program on the basis of performance in GATE, the national level entrance conducted collectively by the IITs. Alternatively, candidates can qualify through AP PGECET, conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. For MBA and MCA, EAMCET scores are considered.
GATE consists of a 3-hour paper with 65 questions covering all relevant subject matter to the field as studied at the undergraduate level.
- Sections are included on general aptitude as well as technical aspects.
- The questions are objective type or numeric type.
- One or two marks is given for every correct response, and 1/3rd mark is deducted for incorrect answer.

Candidates seeking admission to the courses offered by MIC College of Technology may do so by following all the steps mentioned below:
For EAMCET / PGECET:
- A notification will be released by the Andhra Pradesh Government, following which the application forms will be officially released.
- Candidate should log on to the official EAMCET/ PGECET website for registration
- Candidates must first pay the application fee via online banking / debit or credit card payment, following which they will be given a registration number.
- The form must then be duly filled-in with all personal and academic details.
- All necessary documents as well as a recent photograph should be properly uploaded along with the submitted form.
- Candidates must retain a printout of this completed form with them at the time of examination.
For GATE
- A notification will be released by the IIT, following which the application forms will be officially released.
- The registration link will be available from the official GATE website.
- Candidates must submit duly filled-in form, along with uploaded photograph and photocopies of marksheets.
- Online payment of the application fee, generally between INR 100 and INR 500, can be done through net banking.
