Candidates can obtain the Application Form in person from the 60 centres (detailed on Anna University’s official website) by paying Rs.500/-(Rs.250/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu, on production of a photocopy of the Permanent Community Card or electronic form / digitally signed e-Certificate) towards application fee, by cash/demand draft.

Application Forms can also be obtained by post from "The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA), Anna University, Chennai-600025" by sending a requisition letter along with a Demand Draft for Rs.700/- (Rs.450/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu with a photocopy of the Permanent Community Card or electronic form / digitally signed e-Certificate) and an address label written in capital letters to which the application form is to be mailed

The candidates can also register through internet by logging on to www.annauniv.edu/tnea2015; the procedure for registration is available in the website. All Demand Drafts should be drawn in favour of “The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions” payable at Chennai, drawn on any Nationalised Bank dated on or after 05th May 2015

Candidates are instructed to write the name and address on the reverse side of the Demand Draft

Velammal Institute of Technology Application Process: 

:TNEA 2020 Application Form will be available from the 1st week of May 2020. The detailed steps to fill and submit the TNEA 2020 Application Form are as follows:

1. Visit the official website for TNEA.
2. Click on the “Online Registration” link.
3. Candidates need to register themselves by creating a login ID and password through OTP verification. Candidates must ensure that the email ID and mobile number they are submitting are active and valid so that the university can communicate with them.
4. After successful registration, candidates can log in easily with their username and password.
5. Candidates have to fill the personal details that are asked in the application form.
6. Similarly, fill the academic details in the application form.
7. After filling the application form online, candidates must verify all the details given by them in the form by using the preview button.
8. Candidates must take a printout of the filled application form.

Application Fee Payment

• If candidates choose the online mode to pay the fee, they will have to pay INR 500 (general category) and INR 250 (reserved category). Also Check TNEA 2020 Reservation.
• Candidates can make the payment through credit card/debit card/net banking.

Candidates must fill TNEA 2020 Application Form carefully so that they don’t face any problems during the admission procedure.
