Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya is an all-women Private University established in the year 1927 in Jalandhar, Punjab. The university established solely for women, provides various undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses to eligible candidates. The programmes are offered in the faculty of Arts, Faculty of Sciences, Faculty of Computer Science, Faculty of Commerce and Management, etc.
Candidates who wish to apply for any programme at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya (HRMMV) College must apply offline and visit the College premises along with all the required documents before the last date. Candidates will be required to fill the application form completely and submit it along with the photograph and other required documents.
The basic eligibility criteria for candidates seeking admission to UG courses is passing 10+2 examination, while those who wish to get admitted to PG courses must have completed their graduation in relevant field.
HRMMV College provides a range of courses to the eligible candidates who have cleared their 10+2 examinations. The UG programme provided by HRMMV are: BA, B.Sc, BBA, B.Com, B.D, BFA, and B. Voc. The programmes have various specializations offered under them. the duration of a bachelor’s programme is 3 years. The eligibility criteria for these courses is as follows:

The admission to the candidates will be provided purely on the basis of their merit. The marks of the qualifying examinations will be treated as deciding criteria for candidates, thereafter, they can complete the admission process as per the guidelines provided by the authorities.
The college provides a wide range of post graduated programmes at its campus. The candidates can apply for programmes such as M.Sc, M.Com and MA. The candidates are required to have completed their graduation in the relevant course field. The duration of the post graduate courses is for 2 years.

The selection of the candidates will be based on either merit or interview will be scheduled by the college authorities. The candidates will have to comply with the above mentioned eligibility conditions to get admission to their desired course. A merit list will be released, on the basis of which, candidates will be called for interview and further admission process shall be undertaken.
Apart from the undergraduate and postgraduate courses there are various diploma courses offered by the college at its campus. Some of them are, PGDCA, PG Diploma in Business Management, advance Diploma in Fashion Designing, Diploma in Journalism and Media, PG Diploma in Cosmetology and PG Diploma in Garment Construction and Fashion Designing.
