Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Management & Research (DYPIMR) established in 1994 and grew exponentially to reach the pinnacle of excellence in academics, placements, entrepreneurship and research. DYPIMR practices what it teaches and preaches. DYPIMR can boast of being the “First and only Fully Digital Institute” among all colleges under SPPU. It is also reflected in being the pioneer institute under SPPU which has been granted an emerging course MBA (Digital Marketing) with an intake of 60 students along with already successfully running MBA with an intake of 180 students and MCA with an intake of 120 students.

• Candidates need to qualify the primary eligibility criteria for being eligible for the postgraduate courses at DYPIMR which is Graduation.
• Candidates must be graduated with any discipline for being eligible for MBA course while for MCA course relevant degree like BCA/ BCS/ B. Sc. (Computer/ IT).
• The applicant must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA in graduation.
• As for the passing selection criteria at DYPIMR, candidates must appear for one of the following exams for the MBA course: CMAT/ CAT/ MAH CET while for the MCA course entrance exam is MAH-MCA-CET.

The placement department works as a bridge between the students & their mentors, who have exposure & access to the industrial avenues. DYPIMR provides on-campus placement assistance which is supervised by the Placement Coordinator and coordinated by the students elected to the Placement Committee. With this, students are presented with a great opportunity to leverage their relevant work experience and show their talents to the recruiters and join companies at higher levels, while on the other hand, companies get to recruit students who have relevant work experience and are ready to join without intensive training.
