NISER Ph.D Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in any branches of Biological Sciences including Agriculture, Bioinformatics, and Biotechnology, Fisheries, Veterinary sciences and other equivalent courses OR Masters in Chemistry / Physics / Mathematics.
The Ph.D. aspirants are required to appear in any of the National Level Eligibility Test such as NET (CSIR-UGC), ICMR, DBT, ICAR and GATE.

NISER Ph.D Selection Process

Candidates who have qualified NET (CSIR-UGC), ICMR, DBT, ICAR and GATE entrance examination shall be eligible directly for appearing in Personal Interview.
The selection of candidates will be made on merit prepared from marks obtained in the entrance exam, in Personal interview (PI), and in their Post Graduation examination.
Selected candidates will have to present in Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
