Indian Institute of Carpet Technology Admission 2024: Cut Off, Important Dates

The institute offers B.Tech in the branch of Carpet & Textile Technology. The institute provides the following specializations in the final year: Home Textile Technology, Advanced Textile Technology, Textile Designing Technology.

The minimum qualification for applying is 60% marks in 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology from CBSE or any recognized board.

All the admissions to B.Tech program are done through JEE Main and counselling by Central Counseling Board (CCB), Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

Important points:

• Relaxation of 10% will be given for SC/ST candidates in the qualifying examination.
• Class 12^th marks will not be added for calculation of rank and merit.
• For Lateral Entry admission, the candidates must have an Indian nationality and should have passed Diploma in Engineering or Technology with at least 45% aggregate marks.
• Candidates are also eligible to apply if they have passed B.Sc degree from UGC recognized institution with at least 45% marks and passed 10+2 with Mathematics as one of the subjects and with English as the medium of instruction.

IICT Bhadohi offers four-month short term courses under four disciplines in the field of Carpet Technology. Candidates must have passed 10 with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

Admissions to these courses are based on first come first serve basis. Admissions are conducted thrice a year- August to November, December to March and April to July session.

Application forms are available both online and offline. Eligible candidates can either download the form from the portal and send to the institute along with the Demand draft or can obtain personally from the admission office at the college.

Note: Candidates need to submit the compulsory project and the internship certificate as a part of the program.

IICT Bhadohi offers Diploma and Certificate courses in a multiple numbers of specializations. The courses are open to the candidates who have passed class 10^th from any recognized board with Mathematics as a compulsory subject but it is essential that they must be conversant in English language and should be computer friendly to cope up with the course material.

Candidates willing to get registered for Diploma/ Certificate courses will be required to apply on the prescribed forms which can be obtained personally or can be downloaded from the portal.

Key points regarding admission:

• On the receipt of the completed application form along with the registration fee, candidates will be registered with the institute for Diploma/ Certificate course and will be allotted a registration number. They will need to quote this registration number for future reference.
• Minimum duration of completing Diploma courses is 3 years and for completing certificate course is six months.
• In the case of expiry of the period of three years/ six months (as applicable), the candidates not being able to complete the course will have to register again for which a nominal registration fee will be charged.
