After an agreement with the scientist, candidates can submit the application form through the prospective guide. On approval by the Director, a candidate can join as Research Fellow.

There is a relaxation of 5% in the aggregate marks for candidates belonging to SC and ST category. For the Integrated M.Sc + Ph.D. course, the minimum aggregate percentage should be 65% in B.Sc or 60% for SC/ST.
