Marian College Kuttikanam offers BCA/ BBA/ BSW/ B.Com/ B.Sc./ BA courses of three-year duration each. The total intake of BCA and BBA is 60, B.Com (Aided) is 60 and Self-Financing is 50, BSW (Aided) is 24 and Self-Financing is 40, BA in Applied Economics is 30, BA in Communicative English and Journalism is 40, and BSc in Mathematics is 30.
Applicants who have passed 10+2/ HSC or its equivalent qualifying examination in any discipline from a recognized Board are eligible to get admission in BBA/ BSW/ B.Com/ BA courses, while those who have passed 10+2 with Science stream and studied Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Informatics Practices as optional subjects are eligible for BCA admission.
Similarly, those who have completed 10+2 with Mathematics as an optional subject are considered eligible to get admission in B.Sc. course.
Admission to the applicants is given on the basis of their merit in the qualifying examination.

Key Points for UG Admission:
PG courses offered by Marian College are MCA (Regular/ Lateral), MSW, M.Com/ M.Com-PGDM, MMH, and MA of two-year duration each except MCA (Regular) program which is of three-year duration.
MCA has a total intake of 60, MSW has 30 seats in total, M.Com (Aided) has 15 seats, M.Com-PGDM and MMH has 25 seats in total, whereas MA in Communication and Media Studies has a total capacity of 40 seats.
Candidates who have Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks (for SC/ST candidates a pass in the qualifying examination is sufficient) with Mathematics/ Computer Science at 10+2/ Graduation level are eligible to get admission to MCA program.
Applicants with BCA/ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/ IT with minimum 50% marks are eligible to get admission in MCA (Lateral Entry) program.
For MSW and MA courses, applicants with Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks are eligible to get admission, whereas for M.Com program minimum eligibility requirement is Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/ Business Administration/ Business Management from Mahatma Gandhi University or its equivalent University with minimum 45% marks.
Students with Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 45% marks are eligible to get admission in MMH program.
Admission to MCA program for 50% seats is given on the basis of candidates marks obtained in the entrance test conducted by CEE, Kerala (KEAM) and for remaining 50% seats under the management quota is given on the basis of candidate’s merit in the qualifying examination as per the guidelines of Mahatma Gandhi University.
For MCA (Lateral Entry) program, admission is given on merit basis.
Selection of the candidate for MSW and MA program is done on the basis of candidates score obtained in Entrance Test, Group Discussion and Interview round conducted by the college. Candidates are admitted to MMH course based on their merit in any of CMAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CAT including Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds conducted by the college.

Marian College provides M.Phil. Course of one-year duration with a total intake of 10 seats to the aspirants.
Applicants who have Post Graduate Degree in Social Work from Mahatma Gandhi University or any other recognized University with minimum 55% marks are eligible to apply for admission to M.Phil. Program.
Admission to the candidates is given on the basis of their merit in the Entrance test and marks scored in Group Discussion & Personal Interview rounds conducted by the college.

Key Points for M.Phil. Admission:
Candidates have to apply online only through the college’s website. A single application will be valid for all UG courses and two PG programs which is M.Com and MCA, while for other PG courses candidates shall apply separately.
