Vivekanand Education Society Institute of Technology (VESIT) Mumbai Admission 2024: Cut Off, Scholarship

Candidates seeking admission to Bachelor of Engineering (BE) program for a duration of four years. The college also offers admission to BE Lateral entry for a duration of three years. Both the programs are offered in various specializations and the candidates will be required to appear in Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET). Admission to the B.E. lateral program is done on the basis of marks scored in Diploma in relevant discipline.

• Candidates seeking admission to B.E course must have passed in the Higher Secondary Examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• Candidates belonging to the State of Maharashtra are required to secure a valid score in the State Common Entrance Test.
• Candidates belonging to the other states will have to appear in JEE Main examination conducted by CBSE.
• Final selection will be done through CAP (Central Admission Process) rounds conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra.

At postgraduate level, Vivekanand Education Society Institute of Technology (VESIT) offers Master of Engineering (ME) program in three specializations such as Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Information Technology and Instrumentation Engineering. In addition to it, the college also offers Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in Computer Application.

Admission in ME program is done on the basis of marks scored in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by the IITs. Aspirants applying for MCA program will have to appear in Maharashtra MCA Common Entrance Test (MAH MCA CET) conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State.

• Candidates applying for M.E. program must hold a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant branch of Engineering.
• Candidates must secure a valid GATE score card.

• For MCA, candidates must have to be a graduate and they must have studied Mathematics at 10+2 level.
• A valid score in the State Common Entrance MAH MCA CET is required.
