Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology also known as VESIT or V.E.S. Institute of Technology was established in the 1984 in the city of Mumbai, Maharashtra. It is currently affiliated with the University of Mumbai.
Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology offers three courses at UG and PG level. The undergraduate courses are Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and BE Lateral. As far as postgraduate courses are concerned, the college offers Master of Engineering (ME) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA).
- The eligible candidates will have to appear in Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) for admission in BE program.
- Admission in the B.E. Lateral program is done on the basis of marks scored in Diploma in relevant discipline.
- Admission in the ME program is done on the basis of marks scored in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by the IITs.
- Candidates seeking admission to MCA program will have to appear in Maharashtra MCA Common Entrance Test (MAH MCA CET) conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State.

At postgraduate level, Vivekanand Education Society Institute of Technology (VESIT) offers Master of Engineering (ME) program in three specializations such as Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Information Technology and Instrumentation Engineering. In addition to it, the college also offers Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in Computer Application.
Admission in ME program is done on the basis of marks scored in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by the IITs.
