Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must secure at least 45 % mark in three subjects i.e. Physics/Mathematics/and either of these subjects Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology/Electronics with English as a compulsory subject language. 
• The candidate of reserved category from Karnataka state i.e. SC/ST/OBC secure at least 40 % marks in the relevant discipline.

Selection Criteria

The selection is based on the KCET scores or scores in JEE Main.

Admission Process

KCET

Karnataka Common Entrance Test is taken by those students who wish to apply for B.Tech or BE. The application fee is made through a challan, students residing outside Karnataka are required to pay INR 750. The following section gives details for KCET application registration and submission.

JEE Mains

The application fee for taking this exam varies with the type of candidature. The application fee for the general category is INR 325. The following section throws light on the requirements and the process of registration for JEE Mains.

Documents Required

• Scanned and recent photograph coloured or black/white (but clear contrast) JPG/JPEG format. Size should be between 10 kb to 200 kb.
• Scanned signature in JPG/JPEG format. Size should be between 4 kb to 30 kb.
• Application forms with unclear photographs will be rejected. 

How to Register?

• Visit the official website of JEE Main and click on “Fill Online Application Form”.
• Register by giving your personal details, to generate a user id and password.
• The application number will be generated after submitting the details for registration.
• The form requires personal details, address, and mobile number.
• You can set your security question and password to access the application for the future.
• Submit the application form by logging in with the same user id and password that you had set.

Candidates are required to fill the application form and also pay the required application fee i.e. Rs. 1250. Further details have been elaborated below:

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must secure at least 50 % marks in all subjects of PUC with Mathematics as an optional paper. 
• There is also a relaxation for reserved category and native of Karnataka, they must secure at least 45 % marks in the above mentioned criteria.

Selection Criteria

The selection is on the basis of scores obtained in NATA entrance.

Admission criteria in this course i.e. M.Tech. depends on the merit of the qualifying examination along with a valid score in the entrance.

• The candidate of reserved category i.e. SC/ST/OBC/ Karnataka natives secure at least 45 % marks in the relevant discipline.

Selection Criteria

Selection is on the basis of the GATE or Karnataka PGCET score.

Note: The residents of Karnataka are given preference and are also considered eligible if they secure at least 45 % marks in GATE.

How to Apply for GATE?

The applications are accepted through the official website of GOAPS. Where the applicant must register first to create a new registration using one unique email id. 

Documents Required

• Scanned photograph and signature 
• Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar Card/Passport/Driving License/PAN Card/Voter ID/College ID/Employee Identification Card/Notarized Affidavit with Photo, Signature, Date of Birth and Residential Address).
• Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate/Course Completion Certificate.
• Copy of mark sheet of V /VI /VII semester.
• Final year students must submit Provisional Certificate Letter as per format issued by the Home of Institute/Dean/Registrar/Head of Dept.
• Candidates in the final year of AMIE have to submit their mark sheet for Section A of AMIE in case of professional equivalent qualifications.
• Caste Certificate/Disability or PwD Certificate (if applicable).
• Candidates pursuing a higher degree or masters have to submit the qualifying degree certificate.

Admission to MBA course depends upon fulfilling the following criteria:

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should have a Bachelor degree in any of the discipline from the recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. 
• The candidate of reserved category i.e. SC/ST/OBC should secure at least 45 % marks in the relevant discipline.

Selection Criteria

• Selection is based on the marks obtained by the candidate in KMAT or CAT or CMAT or MAT or XAT, etc.
• Also there is a Group Discussion and followed by the Personal Interview for final selection of the candidates.

Admission Process

Karnataka Management Aptitude Test is required from students who are willing to apply for an MBA. The application fee is INR 856, which needs to be paid through a DD by the general category.

• After completing the application, take a print out, paste a recent passport-sized photograph.
• Sign the application and attach the DD along with the application. (for future reference keep a photocopy of the application and DD)

Admission criteria in this course i.e. M.C.A. depend on the scorest of the qualifying examination along with scores in the entrance. The requirements are as follows:

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate with the bachelor degree or equivalent in any of the disciplines from the recognized university with at least 50% including one language in any one of the elective subjects Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Statistics/ Business Mathematics/ Computer Application/ Computer Programming.
• The candidate of reserved category i.e. SC/ST/OBC secure at least 45 % marks in the relevant discipline.

Selection Criteria

Students are selected based on their scores in Karnataka PGCET. 

Admission Process

Karnataka Postgraduate Common Entrance Test is taken by those students who wish to apply for MBA or MCA. The application fee for the general category is INR 650. The following section gives the necessary details for KPGCET.

Documents Required

• Mark sheet of 10th and 12th
• Scanned copy of candidate’s recent passport-sized photograph 
• Candidate’s signature 
• Signature of candidate’s parent/guardian.
• Scanned copy of the candidate’s left thumb impression

• Finally, the applicants should upload their scanned documents, accept the declaration, pay the fee and submit the application. 

Key Points:

• Candidates belonging to SC/ST category should have an aggregate of 40% and 40% marks in each subject they want to study.
• The merit list will be published on the official website of the college.
• The college will publish up to three merit lists but for some courses, it can also publish fourth merit list.
• Seats are reserved for SC, ST, and OBC categories according to rules laid down by the govt. of West Bengal Higher Education Department.
