    Oxford College of Pharmacy, established in 1992, is approved by both the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) as well as the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).     Duration: 2 years  

    Eligibility: Intermediate graduate with Science stream or its equivalent

    Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharma)

    Duration: 4 years  

    Eligibility: Intermediate graduate with 40% marks in PCM or PCB (35% for SC/ST) OR D.Pharm with 60% marks

    Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharma) 

    Specializations: Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology, Industrial Pharmacy  

    Duration: 2 years (divided into Part I and II, one year each)  

    Eligibility: Graduate in B.Pharm with 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST)

    Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D)

    Duration: 6 years (5 academic years and 1 year of internship)  

    Eligibility: Intermediate graduate with PCM and pass in Pharm.D

    Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D) – Post Baccalaureate

    Duration: 3 years (2 academic years and 1 year of internship)  

    Eligibility: Graduate in B. Pharma

    Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmacognosy

    Duration: 3 years  

    Eligibility: M.pHarma from a recognized university

    The admission procedure of the Oxford College of Pharmacy Admission may vary for different programs. Enlisted below are the admission criteria for each:

    1. B. Pharma, M. Pharma, Pharm. D, Pharm. D (Post-Baccalaureate), and Ph.D. in Pharmacy are based on the marks secured in the previous qualifying examination.
    2. Pharma D. is based on an Intermediate examination in the field of science or on successfully passing the first year of one of the various 3-year Science courses, along with a merit-based selection judging by the marks scored in the previous qualifying examination.

    The Oxford College of Pharmacy has a team of highly qualified faculty, Dr. Padma M Paarakh as the honorable Principal. Dedicated to honing the skills of the students while imparting educational values so that they can have a brighter future, the institution has a total of 42 people taking the college forward. Among them, eight have acquired a Ph.D. along with an M. Pharma degree, 28 possess solely an M. Pharma degree, and three have acquired a Pharm. D degree. In addition to the Principal, there are four professors, three of whom are also the Heads of their respective Departments, 31 assistant professors, and 3 associate professors.

    Ans. The college offers four specializations with respect to M. Pharma. They are Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology, and finally, Industrial Pharmacy.

    Ques. Is it necessary to have Biology in my 10+2 in order to join this college?

    Ans. No, it is not. You can either choose Biology or Mathematics along with Physics and Chemistry in your 10+2 to be able to apply to this college. If it is not Biology, it has to be Mathematics.
