Sri Sairam Institute of Technology (SSIT) Admission 2024: Cut Off, Admission form

For admissions into BE/ B.Tech course, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling is conducted by Anna University. Candidates must have passed HSC with 50% marks (45% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST) in PCM subjects in order to be eligible to apply.

• Admission in various engineering colleges will be done on the basis of TNEA Rank List.
• The rank list is prepared according to HSC marks obtained by the candidates. 
• Application forms for TNEA can be filled both offline and online.
• Offline forms can be obtained from TNEA designated centers.

• Only those candidates who have done HSC from Tamil Nadu or are natives of the state are eligible to apply for TNEA.
• TNEA merit list is prepared on the basis of class 12^th percentages of candidates.
• 5% relaxation in qualifying exam is given to OBC candidates.
• 10% relaxation is given to SC/ST candidates.

Admission to MBA course offered at the institute is provided on the basis of the performance of the candidates in TANCET entrance examination, conducted by Anna University. Candidates seeking admission should have passed Bachelor’s degree examination or equivalent or equivalent with 50% marks in the relevant disciplines.

• Candidates applying should either have a valid CAT/MAT/XAT score card or valid TANCET score.
• TANCET exam is conducted offline.
• The counseling is usually conducted in the month of June/July.
• Admission to MBA degree courses is carried out through central counseling (TANCA).

TNEA Application Process for BE/B.Tech

Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate engineering degree courses have to apply for TNEA. The application form can be filled online through official website.

For Online Mode: Candidates must submit INR 500 (general candidates) and INR 250 (reserved candidates) in online registration mode

For Offline Mode: Candidates must submit an application fee of INR 700 (general category) and INR 450 (scheduled caste/scheduled tribe/OBCs)

Photocopies of the following documents should be enclosed along with the application:

1. 10th or SSC Mark Sheet.
2. HSC / Equivalent Mark Sheet.
3. Transfer Certificate from last institute studied.
4.  Permanent Community Certificate Card for ST, SC, SCA, MBC & DNC, BC and BCM (Permanent card / electronic form/digitally signed e-Certificate).
5.  HSC Hall Ticket (Admit Card).
6. Nativity Certificate only in electronic form/digitally signed e-Certificate (If applicable).
7. First Graduate Certificate and First Graduate Joint Declaration (only in electronic form/digitally signed e-Certificate) (If applicable).
8. Relevant certificates for Son / Daughter of Ex-Serviceman, Son / Daughter of Freedom Fighter, Differently Abled Person and Eminent Sports Persons (if applicable).

SSIT Chennai Application Process for MBA

Candidates seeking admission to MBA offered by SSIT are required to appear for TANCET. Application forms for TANCET can be obtained through the official website. Application fee for the registration is INR 500 for general category candidates and INR 250. For Management Quota seats, candidates can register through the college website.
