Sree Narayana Gurukulam College of Engineering, named after Sree Narayana Guru (1855 – 1928) was established in 2002 by the Kunnathunadu S.N.D.P Yogam Union.
The college is affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala and APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Kerala. Sree Narayana Gurukulam College of Engineering, also known as SNGCE is located in the Kolenchery-Perumbavoor Road, gaining leverage as a very diverse and accessible college. Sree Narayana Gurukulam College of Engineering Admission
Admissions for all courses across the various streams offered by SNGCE is done based on the merit of the marks obtained in the qualifying 10+12 exams and the respective entrance test for each course.
- All admissions to the course are based on scores/ranks of KEAM conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala or JEE Main.
- Admission to M.Tech. is granted on the basis of GATE score.
- Candidates seeking admission to MBA must have positive scores in any of the three entrance tests – CAT (conducted by IIM), CMAT(conducted by AICTE) and KMAT (conducted by LBS). Admissions will be based on the merit of marks obtained in Degree examination and entrance exam scores.
- Admission to MCA will be granted on the basis of Kerala CEE MCA
How to Apply?
- To apply online, students are required to download the application from the official website of the institute
- All the mandatory fields, including bank details, are to be filled with precision by the students. No changes can be made after submission of the form.
- An application fee of INR 300 has to be paid along with the submission of the form.
- Students who wish to apply offline can either visit the college and apply in the admissions office in college premises or can request for the application to be sent via post.
- All applicants who have requested the college to send the form via post will have to pay an additional INR 30 as the application fee.
- All payments can be done via NEFT Transfer, Net Banking or by DD drawn in the favour of “Principal, Sree Narayana Gurukulam College of Engineering”, payable at Kolenchery or Ernakulam.
- It is mandatory for all students who are applying to carry the documents mentioned below.

- All students who have appeared for the KEE, KEAM (Kerala Engineering Agriculture and Medical) or the JEE Mains entrance tests will be selected by counselling based on their scores.
- After 70% of the seats are filled, the remaining will be given to students from the Kerala Board of Secondary Education based on the marks obtained in their 12th qualifying or equivalent examinations.

Sree Narayana Gurukulam College of Engineering Placement
Students at SNGCE are given placement training as part of their curriculum from the 1st year of college. In an initiative to better the experience of campus placement, the college has a student wing called the Chrysalis to promote and organize recruitment drives and placements. The Placement Cell of SNGCE has an exuberant team that trains the students through orientations and model interviews, thus helping the college maintain an impeccable placement record.

- SNGCE has tie-ups and connections with private and government banks that aid students to avail educational loans.
- Scholarship for students in Civil, Mechanical and Computer Science departments:
- No Tuition Fees – Students with a KEAM rank up to 5000 or an aggregate percentage of 95% in CBSE or 97% in State in the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) Stream are eligible for this scholarship.
- Yearly Scholarship of INR 25000 - Students with a KEAM rank between 5001 to 10000 or an aggregate percentage between 90-95% in CBSE or 93-97% in State in the PCM Stream are eligible for this scholarship.
- Yearly Scholarship of INR 15000 - Students with a KEAM rank between 10001 to 15000 or an aggregate percentage between 85-90% in CBSE or 87-93% in State in the PCM Stream are eligible for this scholarship.

Sree Narayana Gurukulam College of Engineering Facilities:
- Library – The college has 3 resourceful individual libraries for the M.Tech and B.Tech, MBA and MCA streams respectively. There is also a huge centralized library with more than 44000 books. SNGCE also has the very first e-learning device in Kerala, The D-Space Repository System
- Laboratory – There are numerous labs in the college premises each designed to optimize learning experiences for students. Some of the labs are Hardware Lab (CSE), Material Testing Laboratory (CE), Electronics Circuit Lab (EEE), VLSI and Embedded Systems Lab (ECE) etc.
- Sports – The college has indoor game facilities and has frequently competed in various inter-college competitions. The college also has a sports stadium complex under construction to accommodate a variety of sports infrastructure.
- Cafeteria – The college has separate cafeterias for boys and girls. CNGCE’s cafeteria is known for the variety of healthy and nutritious food provided. Students can access the cafeteria by paying a monthly sum of INR 4000 per month.
- Hostel – SNGCE has hostel facilities for both boys and girls on campus. Students have to pay a fee of INR 9200 per month for admission into the hostel.
- Transportation – The college runs an organized fleet of buses that drop and pick up students from different parts of the Ernakulam District. The buses travel to Chalakudy, North Paravur, Kothamangalam, Thodupuzha, Kaduthuruthy etc.
- Student Counselling Center – SNGCE has a very positive attitude towards mental health. The full-time Counselling Center operates after hours and is aimed at providing self-realization and a positive learning environment.

Ans. SNGCE has a very strict dress code that is mandatory for all students to follow. The college has a uniform to be worn at all times except special occasions. ID cards are also to be worn at all times on campus, without which students will not be permitted inside classes.
